no video description needed for this one, just turn up your volume and hit play. This poor dog does this constantly whenever its owners aren't home.

  1. I worry my puppy does this when we are not home, but I have no way of knowing as our house is away from our neighbors. I would just hate to think Maggie is this upset when we are no around. Maggie by the way looks like a redhead version of your beautiful lab. Only different is she is 25% lab, 25% Golden, and 50% other :)

  2. *sigh* That sound is all too familiar.. and one that comes from my own home, whenever I leave. THANKFULLY we've got to the point, where he doesn't do this the ENTIRE time I'm gone...but just the first..hour or so. heh. Good thing I don't have close neighbors. I think Apartment living probably won't be for me. :(

  3. Aw, poor puppy. I'm fairly certain that's what Arwen use to do when we weren't home. At 10 now though she's better and controlling her seperation anxiety. Is the puppy in an apartment below you or something?

  4. The pup lives in the downstairs of my duplex, it looks like a little border terrier... I ended up calling animal control because I just couldn't deal anymore and I'm an old woman - they left a notice... Our city has strict noise ordinances. I felt badly calling animal control, but I've had bad experiences with jerky dog owning neighbors and decided it was easier this way since I didn't know them at all and didn't want to be like "HI I LIVE UPSTAIRS AND YOUR DOG IS DRIVING ME NUTS!" They came over today and introduced themselves, apologized and gave us their cell phone numbers in case it happened again - they had no idea it was happening. Hope both the puppy and I will be happier now - they seemed willing to work on it, and there hasn't been any barking in about a week.
